The carnivores amongst you should head north towards the pretty village of San Carlos where you will find the traditional restaurant Cas Pages. Here, whether rain or shine, a warm welcome awaits you with the roaring fire and the most succulent cuts of meat to be found anywhere on the island. Feast on sumptuous solomillo, or why not try a traditional dish of Arroz Matanza, a hearty flavoursome broth packed full of wild mushroom, rice and chunks of chicken and pork.
